Dr. Bombyk is a Senior Research Economist at LAI, having completed his Ph.D. in Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, where he served as Data User and Research Support Specialist at IPUMS. He is an applied microeconomist, specifically to issues related to labor and prices, and he has a broad range of research experience spanning 15 years. Dr. Bombyk has deep knowledge of econometrics and currently serves as LAI’s senior researcher who, along with Dr. Tommy Lanier, Dr. Amanda Honeycutt, and Ms. Jennifer Reed, is investigating the cost of caring for children born with cerebral palsy using real world data (RWD).
